Gus is one of those truly talented musicians who can adapt his style to work with others, yet still retains a high degree of individuality in his playing...qualities that have allowed him to work with an extremely diverse range of artists from Thin Lizzy and Marc Bolan, through to Peter Gabriel and Seal.
If you get the chance to see Gus in action, check him out - he has a unique style. I remember seeing him at the old Splash club in King's Cross several years ago and was blown away. The intimacy of the venue worked really well for him and you got a chance to appreciate his technique - he plays left handed with the guitar strings reversed ala Albert King.
Gus' G1 was set up to suit this technique, it also has several other unique features including all gold plated tube and fittings, 24 fret Maple fingerboard and a reverse headstock.
